"AK has a really strange humour, especially yesterday and he said "bad words" in french..." What were the words? It would be amusing to know!

I do have a complaint about some anti-social 'fans' out there. Especially in this wristband-area I was quite shocked, I thought there would be more solidarity! Look, everybody wants to be at the front, we all do, and we are prepared to take effort in getting there there's no harm in being a little assertive. But at some point (1st-2nd rows) you have to except that your spot is the best you can get and be courteous to the people before/around you. Especially two guys were bugging me: a dark Mexican type with a striped shirt and his dark-haired friend. And a girl with brown hair in a ponytail and a camera. If you recognize yourself: shame on you!! The guys were in 3de row, trying constantly to get to the front in a very rude and sneaky way. Marike and I had to cross our arms around each other not to let them pass. When they realized they didn't stand a chance they moved along to try 5-6 places further. And eventually they were at front. I'd shoot them. Oh and then a blonde guy who pretended to be nice to Marike, until Chad threw his drumsticks and John's plectrum was thrown and some buttons from John's equipment: he deliberately forced her arm down so she wouldn't even have a chance to catch it! I'm not jealous: there was a guy with his daughter (first show) who also managed to get to the front, but he was very friendly and sometimes you just get lucky. But these people:

I think we should be a bit easier on Anthony, as I think he's having trouble with his throat again.Maybe that's why you say his voice wasn't as usual. I went to Live Earth today, and his voice sounded good, but when I saw a recording of it later you can see that he was spraying something into his throat and spitting into a bucket. I aggree about Milan though Oh, don't pay too much attention to what I wrote. French people are well-known for complaining, except that we tend to believe it is fair criticism ;D ;D. I spent a fantastic night, and I'm definitely grateful to AK for coming on stage even though he was ill. alemshaye.....!!! Did you see how I praised you earlier in this thread? ;D ;D ;D And is the vid yours? If it is, you know how cute I am when I look at you with my puppy dog eyes and say *coughpandocough* Sincerely, Cover song fetishist whose main idea of fun are cover songs by the coverboy. Covers to the people. Or something like that, anyway. Hey Iva !§ Actually, Erica had to tell me to have a look at the previous pages ;D *blushes*. The vid isn't mine. I posted it here because I saw you were craving to hear this cover... There is another vid on Dailymotion with a very good audio of SOS, unfortunately it doesn't start at the beginning. www.dailymotion.com/video/x2hbae_red-hot-chili-peppers-john-fruscian Here you go : rapidshare.com/files/41710363/Paris07_PdP_SOS__incomplete_.wav (ripped from the vid).

Your review was beautiful, but there's one thing I am REALLY curious about. Were they giving water in paper cups or bottled water? I am curious because bottles are obviously the worst solution, but I saw it happen here. As usual bottles weren't allowed. Security filled a large tub at the front barrier (but I guess also at the sides) with a yellow hose, and from there they took the water with plastic cups and passed them around. They were really very caring, asking people not to spill the water onto their heads and not to throw away the cups so that there would be enough and to be nice and pass the water also to the people standing behind. It was necessary, people in the middle were calling for "le l'eau" to come all the time. Only few people had to be rescued out of the public, even though there was immense pressure, so I guess it helped. Thanks. This gives me even more rights to blame the security for the problems that occured here, as they were the only weirdos on this planet to allow bottled water on a show. And that's one more reason not to blame everything on the band and audience like some MORONS from so-called newspapers did. yes, gong li, there were rude people in the front area, that was not so nice I have now big problems with my right hips, have to go to doctor... Does it mean that she was close? Gooood, I am so happy for her!!!!!!! Teeja got that setlist from Dave Rat, she wasn't in the front area Oh, then I guess she was sightseeing. And I don't like what I read in the first paragraph. Hope it's nothing serious and that you'll be fine. NAAAAAADJAAAAA Gooooooooo Nadjaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! <3<3<3 Always nice to see you again, as I have said... ;D Actually, I was craving for Pussy and I did get to hear SOS. I am being obsessive-compulsive about finding audio and video of all covers recently and I'm always encouraging people to film then, as John sure does them beautifully and those covers (and, once in a blue moon, Pussy, U3 or U11) need more attention and love. Oh yes, guys, just found a torrent on DIME: www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=153681

aw, look at that smile ;D pay NO attention to any negative reports, it was ALL GOOD we are the experts, we know although i havent watched my recording of live earth yet and i havent read anything to do with it or roskilde yet - i dont have the energy and im in a good space, so i am enjoying that for now the band are extremely whacked, but HAPPY. the crew have been at their limits for the last few days because things have been a logistical nightmare. but they can all go home and rest for a few weeks now and i need a break before glasgow ;D ak showed no sign of a bad throat in paris, so im guessing it started up again since then. he is also wearing shin guards (hence the long socks) so maybe his shin splints are troubling him again. but that really didnt stop him going crazy on stage love and peace to you all

"AK has a really strange humour, especially yesterday and he said "bad words" in french..." What were the words? It would be amusing to know! "les pouffiasses" which, in english, means "the bitches" or so. and someone on the front row, said that 2 pretty girls were walking between the row and the stage and AK, while he was signing, looked at her as long as he can (guess what he thought ;o) )

Actually I don't think that the fact of having a girlfriend should stop him or anyone else looking at other girls. I still think that he wasn't staring at them because he found them pretty..
