Well last night I came back from Paris, still can't believe that my little tour is already over. We traveled around 20 hours there and back again for a little view of Paris and the concert. So to keep the story short, we arrived there in about 14:00 and realised that were waiting in the wrong row for the fan pit bracers so we were stood up and were standing in the second or third row outside of the fanpit. Someone wrote that the concert was bad but i think it was really good better then in Udine, but Udine is still my favorite cos of the first row etc. I'm so thrilled that i heard Havana Affair live, This Velvet Glove and Power of Equality for the first time ever and this time they surprised me cos they were communicating with the public alot (unlike the other concerts i was on) and i'm very thrilled that John Mentioned The Doors cos that morning i went to visit Jim's grave. I hope that there will also be a tour next year so i can see them again hopefully from the fan pit.
I just got back from Paris today; what a great show.
I honestly don't understand how some people had the impression that they were in a bad mood because this will be my best memory of the show: how they looked SO happy, smiling and chatting, they seemed genuinely happy to be there and to play together.
Flea patting Anthony's belly, that was so nice. And I loved Flea's little speech too.
The setlist was excellent for me because there were quite a few songs that I hadn't heard live yet and that I wanted to hear: Readymade, She's Only 18, Emt Remmus, So Much I and, most of all, This Velvet Glove. ;D Man, that was so good.
SOS was beautiful and I absolutely LOVED Flea's jams; he was incredible!
Short show yes but a really great one; I am so happy I was there.
And I got to meet quite a few fans, all great people, we had a great time together.
Gong Li, I saw your hands and your "Carole" sign, we were not far from each other (I was at the barrier, facing Anthony)!
Nadja, so you were the one I was wondering who Anthony was talking to for This Velvet Glove! That is so cool, you must have been over the moon when he said that!
So yes, it was just wonderful, I loved every moment. Can't wait for Glasgow; hopefully I will meet more of you there ;D
