Yeah. Tonight starts my two night Chilis adventure. I am in Harrisonburg, VA at JMU. I drive home for the DC show tonight, wake up tomorrow, drive back to school. Friday afternoon I am then driving to Charlottesville for that show. I am really excited, I just hope the snow doesn't affect me getting to DC tonight.

Looks like it's just supposed to be windy with flurries but according to the local news it shouldn't effect traveling excpet for maybe your vision a bit with blowing flurries. Very cold tonight too!

Wow. This is my 5th time seeing them, and I think it is by far the best. They jammed tonight. John had blood all over the pick guard of his guitar by the end of the final jam, to give you an idea of how much they were into it. I am really glad I went tonight and I can't wait to see what tomorrow night brings...

Oh Gosh, blood on the pick guard is such a beautiful thing! (I mean, the dedication thing you know?) John's amazing. He puts his soul on every little song. How lucky you are, 2 shows in a row. And how about the setlist, good?

1. Intro Jam 2. Can't Stop 3. Dani California 4. Scar Tissue 5. Charlie 6. Havana Affair 7. Long jam/21st Century 8. Throw Away Your Television/Don't You Ever Leave 9. C'mon Girl 10. Snow (Hey Oh) 11. How Can I Tell You (John) 12. Nobody Weird Like Me 13. Don't Forget Me 14. London Calling/Right On Time 15. Hey 16. Californication 17. By The Way
Encore 18. Drum Solo 19. I Could Have Lied 20. Give It Away 21. End Jam
Yes that's the right order. I was a bit shocked that C'mon Girl was that early in the set. Some stuff seems out of place compaired to other sets.
Show was good but seemed rushed at times. There was a few minutes after Television where Anthony left the stage and didn't provide vocals for Don't You Ever Leave. He came back and maybe 3 minutes later they launched into C'mon Girl. Something seemed wrong but where I was I couldn't tell. I heard that Anthony pulled John aside and they looked to be arguing. Chad was having problem I hear before the song too and Anthony asked what the problem was. Hopefully everything is all good but he seemed in a very bad mood.
They seemed used bongos on half the songs it seemed including the end jam. There was barely any talk by Anthony or Flea. No You're Gonna Get Yours either, which was a huge letdown. Maybe it was just me or something was off or wrong. Good show, not amazing set (hearing Nobody Weird was a huge highlight though). Crowd was definetly filled with alot of newer fans who mainly seemed to know the hits. Most around me didn't even know I Could Have Lied.

Oh, newer fans... how come to go to a chili peppers show and doesn't know "I Could Have Lied"? o.O Ok, it happens. It just bothers me LOL.... About Don't You Ever Leave, did John sing it or no vocals at all? Strange...

A friend of mine was at the show tonight and said that Anthony seemed to be pissed about something too. He mentioned that the show seemed to be rushed as well, but didnt say that he saw John and Anthony arguing, just supposedly having a serious discussion about something, because before that or something Flea and John were talking about something too on the side of the stage or something. Anyway, Anthony can get in his moods maybe he just wasnt in the mood for a show tonight. I'm sure they'll be fine. He said all the songs were awesome, John was amazing as usual, especially his solo. I wish I went to the show.

Hey again. How was it, Jason? I hope they are not with problems with each other. Maybe Nika pissed Anthony off

To assume someone is arguing onstage by looking at them is simply your take on what you see. To bring it here as though it is a fact starts rumours.

I didn't notice any arguing, but I did notice that they weren't communicating as much as they usually do. There was a point where all 3 of them were jamming in front of the drum kit, so I don't think anything was majorly wrong. Anthony gets weird like that. At one point he was fumbling with his earpiece. I know he gets mad if his monitors don't sound perfect.
I also noticed there were no vocals on Don't You Ever Leave. I started singing it, but then realized that Anthony had left the stage haha.
Most of the fans around me knew only the hits. When the London Calling intro came on I was going nuts, and everybody was looking at me like I was an idiot.

Hey again. How was it, Jason? I hope they are not with problems with each other. Maybe Nika pissed Anthony off Hey was good and very tight sounding. No mistakes on the lyrics but it really was a crowd killer. The energy had died down big time and the crowd seemed bored. I like the song but it's not a big favorite of mine and could've done with a different song. Besides the John changing around some solos and stuff it sounded pretty much like the album version. I thought the best SA song of the night was 21st Century and the 3 minute jam with bongos leading up to it. Also now that they have bongos I think they should mix in Fela's Cock somehow. It almost sounded like they would break into it during the final jam and at one point it almost sounded like Flea was playing the bassparts to Sex Rap.

To assume someone is arguing onstage by looking at them is simply your take on what you see. To bring it here as though it is a fact starts rumours. Look around at other RHCP boards and people who went to the show and most are saying something seemed off last night. I'm not starting rumors. I said I couldn't tell exactally what was happening from my seat but someone said they looked to be arguing. Anthony was upset about something, that I could tell from section 109 and with just a hello at the start, goodbye at the end that's basically all he said. Probably was a off night but even non-diehard fans noticed problems. I talkd with a few who were upset with paying $85 and band's interaction with the crowd was pathetic acting like we weren't there. Flea did thank us a few times but that was it. Anthony wasn't moving around as much either. I was fine with the show. I knew kind of what to expect.
