So, okay, I'll try to kill your boredom by telling you that I am from Germany. My hometown is Arnstadt which is in Thuringia, Germany's "Green Heart" since it's in the middle of the country and we've got a lot of forest here. And my town is in the middle of it. So I live in the middle of the middle of Germany. Still bored? Here's a map with Thuringia and my town's emblem (thanks to Michal for the inspiration). Steff

About weather: there is an opinion, that in Russia it is always snowy and cold. But it isn't so, for example several days ago temperature in Moscow was higher, then in Italy! So, our climate is not so sever, as it is supposed! And here are some photos of "Mother Russia"(c), made by myself: Guess, what's the name of this river? ;D

Steff Did you mean to say in the middle of nowhere? ;D I´ve once been to the middle east- it actually was Thuringia(if that´s the English word)! It was in summer of 93 and I didn´t like it too much! But don´t take this serious anyway ;D By the way welcome Matho! I´m Dirk from Düren- west Germany Find it on a map yourself ;D;D;D
