Everywhere on the internet, the tabs to scar tissue says to pick one string a the time in the intro and everywhere else where he plays that bit.
I know this is how it sounds on the album, but when he plays it live, he strums it.
Does anyone have the tabs, or know how he does this?

it's pretty simple. it's just like playing cant stop. you mute the other strings while u strum one of them.

its easier if you play the F like this
e---5 b---x g---x d---3 a---x e----
as opposed to playing it on the 8th fret. then just move that fingering up to play the C...then to the Dm, etc. or at least i found it easier.

wait not its 10ths ( i think ) lol i need to brush up on my theroy ;D Yeah it´s 10ths ;D I love the way he plays that. And it´s so typical for him. He does the thing with the 10ths on Niandra Lades too. I also read about it an interview too and he said he loves to play notes that are far apart bcos you can create great rhythms with it.
