No Idea. And Yeah, I hope they dont get hit with bottles. I don't think people would dare hit The chili's with a bottle though. Did i not hear once though, that they can ban bottles? And in that article, the girl obvously likes Arcade Fire more. And she thinks that their lead singer could give AK a run for his money? Ha Suuure. It's a silly biased view, plus the chili's are massive they can barely do anything wrong in peoples eyes. And that annoys people like her.

According to the official festival website, Peppers are meant to get on at 9.30pm at the main stage. BBC are recording at Reading and Leeds all weekend, we'll just have to wait and see what gets broadcast and what not (I think at last year's T in the Park they got to broadcast the Peppers after it was 'reviewed' by their entourage but for instance Green Day did not give permission for any of their performance to be broadcast) and if so, when/where.
I am hoping they broadcast the Leeds set Sunday night, so I get to see both gigs (the Reading one in person and the Leeds one on TV).

Are they not the headliners, so shouldn't they be on in the evening?
I'm looking forward to see how this festival is received, seeing it's the last major brittish summer festival and all the other ones were dogged by awful weather and sound problems at Glastonbury. Apparently the weather is going to be good this weekend so hopefully Reading and Leeds will stand out as the best fest this year. It would be in my book anyway because the Chilis are playing!
Arcade Fire suck.

Main stage @ Reading tomorrow: 12noon Paramore 1.00pm The Dead 60s 2.00pm Eagles Of Death Metal 2.50pm The Shins 4.10pm Angels And Airwaves 5.15pm Panic! At The Disco 6.25pm Bloc Party 7.45pm Arcade Fire 9.30pm Red Hot Chili Peppers Arena opens at 11am. I am going to blissfully ignore every other stage/tent, hoping to get a decent spot at the main stage ;D The weather should be dry but the terrain is still wet and muddy from the past floods, and I don't have wellies

My sister just said to me that they normally have coverage just from Reading, which means the chilis will be Saturday night, Pumpkins Sunday on TV.

wellies? t'hee ... are those like rubber shoes? yep, wellington boots, those knee high rubber boots that possibly are UK-must-have-festival-gear, but I don't have any. I think I'll go for the tired pair of converse all-stars, if they get ruined I can just take them off outside my front door when I get home and throw'em

Just watched the coverage on BBC3. They weren't going to show a set because the Peppers arn't even on stage yet. They are on at 9:30 and BBC3 are back at 10:15. However they did talk to Chad, and he mentioned that Anthony is going to have a baby.
