I just hope there wont be tour after europe for 2,3 months.... I'm quite sure they're having a break when Anthony's baby is born, so I'm hoping for a sept-oct tour

Isn't Leeds the last show on the tour? I mean, if they're physically able to give us more, why not...but I think they need a break.

They're having a break from the 8th of July till the 23rd of August. That'll be quite enough for them ;D

This setlist in really nice and a bit, just a bit better than Polish because "Otherside" & "21st Century" are my two very fave songs

Hey guys! So I haven't read through all the comments yet, but I'll just tell you my opinion now. And more later.
I came home with mixed feelings. On the one hand, for me, the setlist was really really good. They played a number of songs I hadn't heard live before (Sir Psycho Sexy, 21st Century, So Much I, She's Only 18, Emit Remmus, Get On Top). So for me it was a good show. On the other hand, since my girlfriend was with me and it was her first RHCP show, I guess some people may have been a little disappointed, due to the absence of a lot of hit songs. No Californication, Under The Bridge, Scar Tissue, Give It Away... I was fine with that. I was very happy when they played Sir Psycho Sexy! I wanted that song so bad! But then again, I also knew, this would mean no end jam... All in all, the set was definitely too short. A good 90min.... c'mon! Also, the band started with a jam before Can't Stop that seemed to last for like 5min! And after Dani California you could see John on the big screen.... drooling! ;D I thought this was gonna be a long, jam-filled night. I was wrong. Also the band was really quiet. I wasn't expecting a lot of interaction, but Anthony said like one sentence, besides "Good Night". Generally, he was a bit strange. Flea was not very communicative either. He only said "Welcome to Dresden" and his usual Thank You stuff. John didn't say a word. And Chad seemed to be in the best mood by far. I don't know if they were in a bad mood. There really was no reason. The Gospel Choir was well treated, so was My Chemical Romance. I guess they just were tired. I guess that's it. They venue was pretty nice too. There was a railwayline behind/above the stage, so trains were passing all the time. And also stopping at times. ;D So, to make it short: Great setlist for me (even though no endjam) Not good for first timers Too short for everyone.
It was a good show, but last year's Berlin show seems to be unbeatable.
I'll write more later.

One more thing: Didn't see Henrik. And it was funny that it rained at times before the show, and immediately after the show was over it started raining.

Thank you very much Steff for the review ;D Yes, I must agree - there is sth wrong when the show lasts "only" 90 mins! RHCP spoiled us with those wonderful 2+ hours shows and now 90 mins seem to be just too little And man, last year's Berlin show was phenomenal! I suppose nothing can be compared to what was going on then! ;D Sorry to hear they weren't very talkactive but I suppose they were really tired after the Polish gig We had just terrible hot weather on the 3rd July and I suppose our media were torturing them throught whole day, before the gig. Plus, after the gig there was a small ceremony with giving them platinum, etc. and very quickly they had to go to Dresden - it's LOADSA emotions and stuff!!!! Waitng patiently for the rest of your review

So, last night was my first Red Hot Chili Peppers concert. It was great. It's crazy how fast the time went on. I mean, I remember me screaming and jumping when they went on stage and after an hour they went, but came back for an encore. I'm very happy with the setlist, though I was hoping that they play I Could Have Lied - my all-time favorite. At the end of the show I've met Henrik. I was there with a friend of mine and we took some photos so in a few days I'm going to post them, when he's able to give them to me. The Soweto Gospel Choir was amazing - I enjoyed them so much but I'm no MCR-fan, so I just waited when the played to see the Red Hot's. Yeah, John drooling - I had to laugh so much about it. It's so unbelievable for me that I saw them last night. I mean, I waited so long for this day to happen and then we stood 10 metres away from the stage, where four of the greatest musicians ever done a great show. I could have cried when John played Maybe - this song is so wonderful. I'm just a little bit disappointed that there was no Californication or Give It Away as the classical songs, but yeah, at least, it was one of the greatest shows I'll ever have seen. And I'm sure this won't be my last concert of them. ;D

one thing I realised is that John was a little bit "slow" on stage, in a way of "dancing" with his guitar, but Josh seems like a young John, if you know what I mean. like going crazy with the guitar. I found it so sweet when John stand in front of the box and listen to the sound he made with his guitar. and he definitely looks so sweet with his hair. well, at least, they're all sweet guys and it was so much fun to see Flea and Josh play with Chad the drums in Hump De Bump
