best setlist so far !!! YES, and i doubt there will be a better one this summer tour " To finger paint is not a sin I put my middle finger in Your monthly blood is what i win" ok ... it was more than 4 words rapidshare.com/files/40192082/RHCP-Munich-june29th2007-PurpleStain_tease.zip... and not only AK during Emit Remmus .... again it sounded like he was singing " Melanie sent me ..." support: Dinosaur Jr. was the first support, the second was the Gospel Choir Dinosaur Jr. was good - as expected (but the sound was horrible, similar as in Holland) Soweto Gospel Choir was great great great, everyone was chanting and singing with them .... and Anthony was very happy that we like the Gospel Choir (he said that after Dani California) Oh Happy Daythat was their last song 103 minutes ..... thats too short but with this great setlist it didnt feel like a short set.

That makes me optimistic for Dresden. I do think that the choir can be lots of fun and I do hope that the rest of the audience will think the same. Great setlist, only one thing: Aren't they doing end jams anymore?

Well the show yesterday was OK!But I have seen better ones from rhcp! Pro: -the Gospel Choir was great!Everybody was dancing. The Choir was accepted by the crowd -Beautiful Location -Great Sound -Amazing intro,Power of Eqality Con: -I missed the jams the peppers are famous for, only a few short ones -Ant seemed quite confused the whole show.He missed his insets at least 4 songs! They changed the setlist about 3 times. The first one which was replaced after half of the concert or later had passages crossed out in the middle. The whole encore was again changed with a new setlist. -Every show I saw they played Don't forget me and TAYT I like these songs as all of the peppers but I'm sick of hearing them live... -The concert was way too short. May my expectations were too high after the Udine Setlist...Nethertheless they rocked the audience as usual

May my expectations were too high after the Udine Setlist...Nethertheless they rocked the audience as usual Different people, different opinions I love Don't Forget Me, and I had the pleasure to hear it on each and every concert I went to, including this one, and I'm very grateful for that opportunity. And each time there's a little difference, like John's putting something new to the outro or Anthony's making up new lyrics. But on the other hand, they do keep changing the setlist quite a lot, last night I heard 4 songs live for the very first time, so in my opinion it's worthwhile going to more than one concert, if you have the chance to. Last night, I missed the outro jam, too - but on the other hand we got Power Of Equality, and as on the Slane concert I know from DVD, there's no outro to that My friend missed Give It Away even more, it was her first concert and she was sure to hear it... So what I'm pointing at, there are so many expectations from the audience, the band just can't meet all of them, but I think they do a great job in varying their setlist! And I think there were a lot of jams, intros, outros, solos, alternations - whatever you may call it: Short jam before Dani, a rather long outro to Scar Tissue, the audience was already applauding, but they went on and on. Flea's bass solos before TAYT and Don't Forget Me, long outro jam to Nobody Weird Like Me, and they even made up an intro to She's Only 18 and a 4 minute long intro to Californication. So I guess that all made up for the missing outro jam (for me at least). Regarding the changing of setlists: I also got the impression there were some spontaneous alterations inbetween. I'd guess I Feel Love was one of those, too. Maybe they wanted to add something "last minute". Altogether the concert wasn't short (10 minutes in comparison to 106 min in Nijmegen), but I'd say because of the abrupt ending after Power Of Equality you got the impression "wait, that can't be everything!" rather than in the case of the "ususal" outro. At the moment, I could't tell which concert from the recent leg I'd like better: Munich or Nijmegen, both had very good setlists with some surprises and the Chili Peppers seemed to be over the top. From my point of view, the audience was better in Munich - more dancing and clapping, maybe the lack of rain was the reason?

lol I should consider registering, since I can't edit my posts...
I meant to write "Altogether the concert wasn't short (103 minutes in comparison to 106 min in Nijmegen)..."

Often I find it very hard to get a bootleg from a concert I went to (still looking for Dortmund 2006 ), so that's why I did a recording myself this time. It's from the tribune, so there's more reverb in it, but also more audience participation (yeah, the tribune loves the band, too ) So I edited it a bit, cuz the recording levels were blasted when the guys in front of us were yelling. But cheers to them, can't blame someone having a good time at a Chili Peppers' concert This is what I have done so far, the other songs will have to wait since I'm going to Hamburg now. 01 Intro02 Can't Stop03 Short Jam04 Dani California
