Last night was awesome! I had the best time ever! Loved all the performances, especially the Chili Peppers, and Eddie Vedder. I also really loved the Jack Bambi's, man those kids can rock, and I thought Mickey Avalon was really cool as well. Saw a lot of celebrities, Robert Downey Jr. (his son is the guitarist for the Jack Bambi's), Jack Black, Val Kilmer, Vincent Gallo, Woody Harrelson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar!( he said what's up to me and my friend), Simon Rex, Claire Forlani. I met Dave Rat, the Chili Peppers sound guy, before the show, and I met Josh Klinghoffer at the rooftop after party. There was an open bar all night! and lots of great Mexican food.
The Highlights were definitely Eddie Vedder and the Chili Peppers!
The first half of Eddie's set was solo/acoustic, and the second half he brought out Flea and Jack Irons! It was awesome. Before the last song Eddie said some cool words to Flea, and the rest of the Chili Peppers, and to Jack, about how they really helped him and Pearl Jam, and he wouldn't be where he is today without there help. Also Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols came out and joined them on guitar for "The Kids are Alright."

And the Chili Peppers just kicked ass, they rocked the place! It's so awesome seeing them in such a small venue. The highlight was definitely "Catholic School Girls Rule!" They played with so much energy, they were on fire! When they finished Ant thanked us for coming out and Flea said some kind words to us and thanked us all for being there. Then it was off to the rooftop after party. Just an awesome night, and I'll definitely be there again next year.

Thanks for the great review California King. I tried to find a cheap flight across the country to see them, but they were a little too steep in price. Your review made me miss it more. I'm glad you had a great time. It sounded like it was a very special show indeed
