i know this is really late, like 2 years late but i happened to come across this site, so anyone who went to their melbourne shows listen up. i wore a very precious crystal necklace with a fuckload of sentimental value to their concert on the wednesday night, and as soon as the chili's left the stage and the show had finished i realised i had lost it. i know because i was playing with it all night. i was in the mosh pit in the very front row so if ANYONE has it (someone has to have it because myself, my friend and a couple of security guards stayed an hour after the show had finished looking for it. and chad threw his drum stick at me hehe) or if anyone knows anything about it pleeease let me know on meekos_fruition@hotmail.com it is so important to me also sorry to the girl i pushed in the back that night. maybe this is karma. |

i was really angry. when i went to their show in melbourne the only played stadium arcadium songs! only one old song, nobody wierd like me, only one off californication, which was, californication and the rest were songs off stadium arcadium. i mean come on none off blood sugar sex magik??? not even under the bridge! the audience were cheering for it. john was AMAZING! pulling out these beautiful, wacky, melodic riffs left right and center. and he REALLY interacted with the audience. he looked me straight in the eyes for like a whole minute (i was directly bleow him) but anthony, wouldnt even look at the audience, talk to them. he came on did his stuff and left. not even a goodbye or thanx for comming. the rest of the band did. ah well.
btw yertle the turtle, i'm pretty sure i saw you that night. from your picture you look familar, and this guy that looked like you was REALLY getting into it. i loved it. and after the show had finished they were playing if you want me to stay in the background but i think it was the sly version and i was the only one singing and dacing. i could hear people saying whats this? is this a red hot chili peppers song? i just laughed.
