so last night was pretty awesome, but I cant help but wonder after every song turned into a 10-15 minute jam session, are the Peppers going the way of the Grateful Dead? it was a good set Gnarls Barkely rocked, too bad the house wasnt into it, or else it wouldve been an awesome opening set. they played almost every song off of st. elsewhere and a pink floyd cover.
It was a solid set of rock. I was close to the stage. overall the show is 8/10 since this is my 2nd time seeing them. the first time was 10x (80/10)better for some reason. the chili peppers left the stage to Boos after Flea said "Go Lakers" and pointed to the Spurs championship flags after a jam that seemed to go on for 20 minutes. Under The Bridge was not played, which is strange. I recorded the set, it was:
intro jam cant stop dani california scartissue charlie havana affair 21st century throw away your TV bloodsugarsexmagik Maybe (John sings ) Snow ((Hey Oh)) nobody weird like me stadium arcadium right on time C'mon girl Californication by the way chad jams on drums encore i could have lied give it away outro jam (flea says "go lakers")
i got pictures as well

Cause Flea said something like "Go Lakers" and pointed at the San Antonio Spurs' Championship banners and that is not what people in San Antonio like to hear or see.

wtf are you like 13? that was a lame jab. seriously. I wont even go into that. I came here to comment on the show, i make an observation about the long jams, a non-negative one at that, and you accuse me of not being a "true fan" what the hell constitutes a true fan anyways? is there a book I forgot to buy along with Kiedis' Scartissue? "how to be a true fan" I just made an honest observation, while long jams are nice, I think they couldve spend some time covering some more of their catalogue, (otherside, around the world, utb) its not that I didnt enjoy the jams, together with the kickass light shows it was quite a show. along with some herbal enhancements it was a blast. Im just trying to be honest, RHCP were the first band I ever listened to, Californication was the first album I bought with my own money. I was 13 in 1999. Im pretty sure someone's gonna come along to prove how much bigger fans they are than I, but I could careless. RHCP are a band I enjoy for the most part. I own all their albums, some singles, I have a few magazine clippings here and there. and I read Scartissue which was...well thats another story (its Vicente Fernandez, youre really not all that cool) spurs>all of the nba (you wouldnt understand) notice I didnt make any cheap attempts to insult the Rockets.
