Could they change the setlists? Yes, they could. Now, I don't care about the songs they played yesterday, or will play tomorrow. I won't be there. I find it fucking stupid to ditch a gig just because you'll get what they've done in another continent. No, it's fucking stupid not to ditch a gig when it's clearly a waste of money, namely when you've seen them doing the EXACT same things, right down to the wardrobe, they've done ad nauseum for the last two-three years. Even their 'jams' don't change, save the occasional special exceptions like the extended encore in Berlin. Christ, nine albums worth of music (10 if you consider the length of Stadium Arcadium) and not a shred of originality on the stage. I do confess I regret missing the Mars Volta though. At least they can shake things up a bit. And in reference to another reply, Coldplay could be the worst thing to ever perform music for all I care (we're talking sub-Celine Dion levels here), they're at least keeping some things fresh and they're respecting their fans when they perform, and they're able to do it with a fraction of the avaliable music the Peppers have avaliable to work with in a live set. That's far more than what the Peppers can say for themselves since By The Way was released. Fail. BADASS ALERT
