You're welcome. Linger is an amazing song. I'm a huge fan of The Cranberries. Dolores O'Riordan is the leadsinger who's in my sig. You've got great tate in music, I like Nirvana, Placebo, The Killers, Green Day and Radiohead aswell. Kasabian are one of my favourite new bands at the moment. Dolores' voice is kind of unique, isn't it? Anyway, what's happened to them? They're sort of disappeared from the international music scene. Yeah, Kasabian are really good... I have the feeling that they could be the next big thing. There's still a long way to go -at least outside of the UK (ie. breaking into the U.S. market) - but their debut is really encouraging anyway.

I live in Texas (WAY down south) and I've been here all my life (which actually hasn't been that long). It seems like you have great taste in music! I also like Nirvana along with the Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Green Day, Nine Inch Nails, The Mars Volta, John Frusciante, and Velvet Revolver to name a few. ;D I like this ‘WAY up north vs WAY down south’ thing going on! I agree with you, all these artists are great! And of course I love John Frusciante... not only as a musician, I really like his artsy attitude towards life. It’s so great to seeing him safe and sound now.

hi mel!this is elena from spain!my english is a little crappy,so i always apologize because people don´t always get what i want to say. anyway,i also love the chilis old stuff,in fact Taste the pain and Show me your soul are among my favourite songs, but i completely adore their evolution, and i can´t wait for the next album.ithink you have a great musical taste!have you ever seen them live? i saw them last summer and it was the most fascinating experience of my whole life! i hope we will talk a lot in the forum, see ya! Hola Elena! Where do you live in Spain? I visited your country five years ago and loved it. Yeah, I’ve seen the Peppers live three times: first was in 1992, courtesy of my brother… he’s a lot older and I had shamelessly begged him to take me with him. My first concert ever, wow. I cannot wait for the next album either… sounds like they’re in the recording studio right now. Let’s keep our fingers crossed! Oh, don’t worry about your english… you’re spanish, not american like me… I’m the one who deserves to be taken away to be shot!! I’m looking forward to meeting you in the forum!!!!

Hi Mel! Welcome on the board! Wow! You have great musical taste! I love old school punk too like The Germs, X, Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, The Misfits, Sex Pistols, The Ramones, The Clash, etc. I also like Nirvana, Radiohead, Coldplay, PJ Harvey, Green Day...and many other things like The Mars Volta, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, etc.etc. Me too, I like their old stuff and what makes me appreciate them more is that their sound had evolve through their albums and the years. I don't even know why I say all these things, that's not my welcoming thread. Hehe sorry! Well, my name's Annie and I'm from Montreal. I hope you will enjoy your time here! And your english is good by the way! Annie baby, you’ve got a great musical taste too!!! ;D Old school punk is simply awesome and all the bands you’ve mentioned are true legends! I absolutely agree...to play the same music over and over without trying new stuff, that would be just stooooopid. Sure a bit more more rock n roll and funk wouldn’t hurt, though!!!! Hey, I like people telling a bit about themselves, I don’t want this thread to be my own soap box, you know?

I started a Cranberries thread here onehotglobe.proboards47.com/index.cgi?board=music&action=display&thread=1098972249 I would love talk about them there. You could find out what they're upto there. Yeah I got Kasabians debut album, it's very good, they been described as the next Stone Roses.

Hi Mel, you have good taste in music! How long have you been in Italy for? I have been there a couple of times, nice country!!! ;D Hiya atomic! Yes, Italy is definitely a nice place to stay and it’s been a fantastic foster mom to me. I’ve lived here for a long time, since I was 10. My best friends live here and my boyfriend is Italian too… you know what? I’m really into these italian guys. I mean, for some reason I’m attracted by dark-haired, dark-eyed, short guys....(*coughs* look at my avatar… )… I live near Venezia, btw. Have you ever been here?
