I know this isnt a OHG related query but was hoping someone could help. I'm registered on dimeadozen and when i go to download a torrent it tells me i need to search the net for a programme to open it. I dont really know how all this works so could someone tell me what i need to do?! It would be very much appreciated

Let's see: you're going to need a torrent program. Also, in most of the cases, you are not going to be able to use this system from firewalled university networks or similar. And torrenting via dial up is a nightmare, so, if you have dial up, give up and find someone to burn the stuff to DVDs for you. I recommend Bit Torrent, it's pretty reliable: www.bittorrent.com/Now, download the program and run it. Log into Dime A Dozen again and find the torrent you like. I booked the search page for RHCP which gives best results. Let's say that you want Milano, 30th November 2006. Click on its name. www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=136888&hit=1Before you start downloading, scroll down and see if there are any seeders. If there are no seeders, you won't be able to download anything. Then, scroll back up and click the link after "Torrent File". Bit Torrent should open a dialog box and ask you where to save it. The process will begin and in View>Settings, you can set some options, such as how the download progress will be graphically displayed and how many bandwidth you can give for downloads and uploads, in order not to slow down everything else you're doing on the internet. After the download has been complete, do not delete the file from the tracker, keep it there with a little file so you could be a seeder. If you're just leeching and not seeding, Dime A Dozen will block any downloads until you reach the share ratio of 0.25. Hope this helps:)
