Ipods are gay I bought one because my CD player was held together with tape and sheer force of will. I find it handy.

Ipods are gay I bought one because my CD player was held together with tape and sheer force of will. I find it handy. I was never going to buy one because I looked at the Creative Zen and said "this has more features and provides better value for my money because it is actually cheaper than an ipod. I think I would prefer this. Also it doesn't have that stupid wheel concept."
Therefore I made my choice.
The only thing good about Ipod is the software (itunes) is better.

That's probably the biggest marketing trick--making the software the best part.

That's probably the biggest marketing trick--making the software the best part. Pretty much. Plus getting big names to promote it. Plus the whole istore thing now.
Ipods are more a fashion accessory than a hard drive with a media player. People just like being seen with them, or at least that's what it's like here.

I am me, and I like having whatever music I want to listen to today being easily accessible. At home, I listen to music like a proper person. But during the walk to work, I'd rather have something to listen to. Oh, and by proudly stating you're not succumbing to the mainstream, you are just as affected by it. A lot of people think they're individual for not having an iPod. They're not, because of their attitude towards the whole thing. Who the fuck cares if I have an iPod or a Creative? Different brands. Who. Cares.

Read my last 7 words closely again.
DO YOU LIVE HERE??
I didn't think so.
Do you intentionally come on here every day to see who you can slag off at?? Because you seem to be involved in an unhealthy amount of arguments. You get very agressive, too.

"You" is used in a general sense. I'm saying, I don't care what kind of mp3 player you have. To argue about that is just pointless. What you have on it is more important. Why are people whining about this Creative v. iPod thing? Once again, who cares. I don't go to work everyday worrying about how trendy I seem to the guy at the checkout counter.
And I lived in the US, where EVERYTHING is a fashion accessory. Don't give me that shit. If you think Australia is bad... wow.
To answer your question, I come here for certain people. Hey, remember when this was a really good forum? I do. But... keep yelling. It's the most entertainment I'll get out of this place for a while.

better discuss about ipods or trends in the general section instead.
this thread has already served its purpose.
