OK, my suggestion half makes sense, and half doesn't:
I thought it might be a little more fitting to have named the "Film and Television" section "Throw Away Your Television".
Now also, I can see why not as the name would be seen as negative to any "stranger" passing by the forum.
Just thought I'd put it out there. We discarded the idea for that reason

Also, how is the name Blood Sugar Sex Magik related to Chad? How is it not? What would you suggest instead?

Just looking at some of the other names, and they're pretty well done let me tell you.
But, you do appreciate input I know.
Film and Television - Hollywood Sport - Magic Johnson (maybe)
Just some suggestions.

There is no debate. The song they covered is Hollywood (Africa) by The Meters, and on The Abbey Road EP (released 1988) it is printed as Hollywood (Africa). The Remastered edition (released 2003) lists it as Hollywood (Africa).
Californication is much closer to film and television than a song about the origin of african american slaves.

yep. Ken is right. It´s Hollywood (Africa)
and I agree on Californication... even though it hurts me how it all end ups there.. western civilization...

And for those of you who don't like the red, you can change the way your view the forums so that they look a bit closer to the old ones (ie. blue links) by going Profile > Modify Profile > Select Skin: oldblue - MODIFY PROFILEThanks for giving the blue back

Alright, we're happy to take suggestions. Now only the Games and Test Arena forums do not count towards your post count total. And for those of you who don't like the red, you can change the way your view the forums so that they look a bit closer to the old ones (ie. blue links) by going Profile > Modify Profile > Select Skin: oldblue - MODIFY PROFILEooooooh that's MUCH better! Thanks so much!!

Californication is much closer to film and television than a song about the origin of african american slaves. Well, we get into this now. Is Give it Away a song about news?? Is Shallow be thy Game about games?? Is Pretty Little Ditty about tabs & lyrics??
My understanding is it was the titles of the songs that are supposed to relate to the naming of the boards rather than the actual meaning of them.

1. Am I the only one not bothered by the red links? 2. As for the Throw Away Your Television thing, I would put two and two together and realize that the board is not advising me to actually throw my television away but to discuss television. But then again, I'm not an idiot. 3. The board titles are hardly important. If it's going to be this big a deal, maybe just take them off, be completely boring, and call them what they are.

I'm just giving my 2 cents on ways to improve the board. I think that is what they want. Suggestions, comments, queries. That sort of thing. It's not a huge deal, I'm just justifying my suggestions.

Well, we get into this now. Is Give it Away a song about news?? Is Shallow be thy Game about games?? Is Pretty Little Ditty about tabs & lyrics?? Give It Away is about giving your goodwill to others for free. Spreading the good news even. Shallow Be Thy Game is about defiance and rising above the rest. Pretty Little Ditty is precisely that. Both title and lyrical content are applicable, except for the instrumental. But the main point is, it means very little indeed. Hollywood (Africa) is both unfitting in title and in song meaning. Any other suggestions?

I don't know if this is just my computer or whether you guys intended it this way but while the little icons next to all the other sub-boards turn greyish after you've viewed all threads, the help board one remains orange. Could you perhaps do something about this? It's a bit of a pisser. I never noticed but I tried it out now. The reason is the help board does have two subboards and if you also view both of them the icon on the main page turns grey like it does for any other viewed board. So there´s nothing we can do about this.
