I understand where John is coming from in regard to booing. However, John seems unaware that the boos the opening act received from some of the audience members were actually directed at the fact that EVERYONE was expecting to see Gnarls Barkley. The MA dude came out with no explanation or mention of Gnarls Barkley. Had John or one of the other guys come out and offered some sort of explanation... their good friend wouldn't have been booed. Ive lost a little respect for John. His thoughts on humanity and interpersonal respect are right on, but to read him rambling about soemthing he is obviously ignorrant to, is unfortunate. Cause Mickey knew WHY everyone was booing and everything , there is no ignorance at all in what John said. It's just fuckin rude to boo people period, for whatever the reason.

So was it okay to heckle Michael Richards? Do you feel sorry for him after his heckling response? Hmmmmmmm If you can't take criticism than get off the stage.

John never shot anyone for being fucking rude, and booing, but does he have to like it, hell no! If you want to "boo and hackle", deal with the fact some people won't like it and will say it out in the open!I am very proud of the fact that he don't suck up to the fans in a way to swallow bitter anger if they made him angry, just for the sake of the "sheer business baby" part of his job!

A shirtless AK and there are no pictures?! Where are you Julia? I really enjoyed John's letter. What a lovely, compassionate guy he is.

Maybe it's just miscommunication? It's not even their fault, it's the concert promoters fault for not explaining Gnarls absence. No need to lose respect for John.

While I don't think Michael Richards deserved to get heckled, what he did AFTER getting heckled certainly did merit that kind of abuse from the audience. Look, all John is saying is not to boo someone who is trying to do something good, not bad. Yes, it is a part of life, but that doesn't mean you should always ~go with the flow~ If you have the means to communicate to people why you feel it is wrong, and do so respectfully and eloquently, why not? Personally, I have more respect for John after reading this. it shows he's not just like every other rock star who doesn't care. He cares, and I'm glad he expresses it.
